Mission Statement
Head In The Right Direction’s mission is to promote wellness by making mental health services more accessible for all individuals and families. We seek to assist individuals and families in reaching their full potential for living enriching and satisfying lives and gaining better understanding of their world through the interventions of qualified, competent therapists.

In line with these values, we believe professionals licensed and certified by New York State as competent to provide these types of services must deliver these services in the least restrictive, non-stigmatizing, most accessible environment possible.

The Head In The Right Direction web site serves to provide community resources that are available and accessible to individuals and families. These resources promote health and safety, empowerment of individuals and families, individual uniqueness, and help individuals move toward personal growth and enrichment. We work in partnership with allied community agencies and service providers to deliver quality individualized supports and services.
