Head In The Right Direction, Inc.’s mission is to promote wellness by making mental health services more accessible for all individuals and families. We seek to assist individuals and families in reaching their full potential for living enriching and satisfying lives and gaining better understanding of their world through the interventions of qualified, competent therapists.
A licensed therapist will come to your location, provide a thorough assessment, and collaborate with you to develop a plan to address a wide variety of distressing issues. Through proven intervention strategies, your therapist will work with you to introduce new strategies and skills to help you replace old thoughts / behaviors with more adaptive / healthier thoughts / behaviors and improve your quality of life and personal relationships. You can see positive change in a short period of time. As you learn new skills, you will be more effective in you life and better able to make positive change on your own. Participation is voluntary and you have final say on all treatment decisions.
In The Home provides individual clients with competent practicing clinicians that are available to meet in the home, office, local coffee shop, or other comfortable venue. These locations may foster a natural “home-like” environment that allows our clients to feel more comfortable and empowered during the therapeutic process.
Our clients are individuals that are seeking therapy services but do not wish to go to a clinic, office, or other location that may have a stigma for that individual. Clients may seek our services because they want to remain in the comfort of their own home, business, or neighborhood. Our therapists have various experience working with clients on various issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, impulse control, interpersonal communication, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness skills, as well as various personality disorders.
All clients of Head In The Right Direction’s In The Home Program will have full access to the Head In The Right Direction’s web site and will be able to access resources related to their treatment through secure web site access. Clients participation is completely voluntary. Clients will be involved for varying lengths of time.
