Together Again
Head In The Right Direction, Inc.’s mission is to promote wellness by making mental health services more accessible for all individuals and families. We seek to assist individuals and families in reaching their full potential for living enriching and satisfying lives and gaining better understanding of their world through interventions that have proven positive results.
Head in the Right Direction’s Together Again program supports our mission as a secondary level prevention strategy. Together Again ensures the safety of children while promoting the parent / child relationship. Inherent in the nature of the this service is the opportunity to offer parenting materials or make referrals for needed services, to further ensure the safety and care of the child.
These services will be provided at various child appropriate community settings or on site as deemed appropriate by the Program Coordinator. These public locations foster a natural “family outing” type setting. Head in the Right Direction also offers appropriate space for visitations evenings and weekends. Business hour visitation depends on availability of space and facilitator.
Our customers are parents who have been court ordered and have the financial means to pay for this service. Customers will be referred by the court or attorneys for these services as deemed necessary. Head in the Right Direction will provide attorneys and courts with standardized observation reports of the visits. Customers will participate in the program for however long the court orders supervised visitation. Customers will be involved for varying lengths of time.
All clients of Head In The Right Direction’s Together Again Program will have full access to the Head In The Right Direction’s web site and will be able to access resources related to their treatment through secure web site access. Clients participation is completely voluntary. Clients will be involved for varying lengths of time.
