PATIENT RESOURCES

Support made
easy to find

Whether you're looking for immediate support, trying to understand what you're going through, or searching for local help, we've gathered these resources to make it a little easier to find what you need.

SCHEDULING

Appointments

Book your first session or make changes to an existing appointment.

  • You can use this website to book your first appointment directly with a therapist, or you can contact us and we'll help match you with a clinician.

If you choose the matching option, once you complete the contact form, a therapist will reach out to ask a few questions so we can find a strong fit based on your circumstances, preferences, and scheduling needs.

  • You can request changes in any of the following ways:

    Option 1

    TherapyNotes Client Portal

Log in to the portal and request a reschedule or cancellation directly.

    therapyportal.com/p/headright ↗

    Option 2

    Contact your therapist directly

You may text or call your therapist directly to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

Notice window: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when possible to avoid late cancel fees.

TELEHEALTH

Joining your session

We offer secure telehealth sessions through the TherapyNotes Client Portal, the Kismet Health Portal, and — when needed — other HIPAA-compliant platforms like Zoom based on clinician recommendation and your preference.

    • Use a device with a working camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer)

    • Connect to reliable Wi-Fi or strong cellular data

    • Choose a private, quiet space — headphones are recommended

    • Join early to test your audio and video

  • TherapyNotes

    TherapyNotes Client Portal

Log in, navigate to your appointment, and select Join Telehealth Session when it becomes available.

    Open portal ↗

    Kismet

    Kismet Health Portal

Click the secure link sent to you by your therapist and follow the prompts to enter your scheduled session.

    Other Platforms

    Zoom or other HIPAA-compliant

If TherapyNotes or Kismet isn't the best fit for your setup, we can use another HIPAA-compliant platform. Your therapist will confirm and send the secure link.

  • If you're having trouble:

    • Close and reopen the session link, or refresh the page

    • Confirm you allowed camera and microphone permissions

    • Switch browsers — Chrome or Safari are often best

    • Move closer to your router or restart Wi-Fi

    • Restart your device

    • Try joining from a different device (phone vs. laptop)

If the connection drops: Your therapist will attempt to reconnect for 5–10 minutes. If needed, your therapist will contact you to switch to a backup plan (phone or reschedule), depending on what's clinically appropriate.

  • Non-urgent (in advance)

    Reach out to your therapist

Contact your therapist ahead of your session for any setup questions or concerns.
