As a second-year Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where clients feel supported in exploring their inner experiences. I believe each person holds unique strengths and inner resources, and that therapy can help bring these forward during times when they may feel out of reach.
My background in teaching yoga has shaped my passion for incorporating mindfulness and somatic awareness into the therapeutic process. I take a holistic approach, honoring the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being, and integrate techniques from CBT, ACT, and humanistic frameworks to support meaningful and lasting change.
I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, presence, and acceptance. By gently turning toward our emotions in the present moment, we can build insight and develop tools to navigate life’s inevitable challenges with greater clarity and balance.
Prior to my counseling training, I earned a bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language–English Interpretation from Northeastern University and worked as an interpreter for 10 years. I am fluent in both English and American Sign Language (ASL), and offer counseling in both.
